The setup is this – our drummer Jack had broken his wrist shortly before this string of gigs and we’re playing here with a sub who came in on short notice. We have to follow Blood Sweat and Tears with David Clayton Thomas who performed a kick-ass show. We are feeling totally under the gun heading to the stage to face about 12,000 people. This is our opening number…

Wow! The Cosmos rock! I thought they all got hit by a subway train and they had to soak ‘em up with mops. I’m so glad that’s not true. The Cosmos live on! (well, on video anyways) All my best – Gimp/Patch

Oh Yeah…….We were just doing that thing we do! Those video clips are only the tip of the iceberg,on a night-to-night basis, of the energy and seemingly reckless abandon, that we could play at. Wasn’t the drummer in question Nate Bonour? He was good,real good. On the scaffold climb i remember thinking, “hey, i can see my house from here………..”- Spike
